There’s one thing I’ve been doing religiously during quarantine…something I never thought I’d be able to do. And while I wish I could say it’s working out everyday, I am still seriously proud of myself for sticking with it and improving my skills. It’s dip powder nails and it’s seriously easier to do yourself than you’d think. Click the cover below to see what I mean!
A few quick tips to keep in mind…
- Clean your nails well! Dip powder sticks to your nails like glue, so any imperfections, lint pieces or flakes with show underneath the powder. I make sure to buff thoroughly and cleanse with these lint free wipes.
- Do not go too close to your cuticles! Dip powder is seriously sticky and will not easily come off of your cuticles + skin. Instead, leave lots of room and gradually fill out the edges with each additional coat.
- Don’t peel or pick! I know it’s hard if one of your nails cracks or breaks, but resist the urge. If it’s time for the dip to come off, opt for this magic remover and avoid completely wrecking your nails!
