Nestled on the southern tip of Florida is the most magical place, Key West. Only ninety miles from Cuba, Key West is a tropical paradise that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Beach cottages, vintage cars + wild chickens line the streets. Yes, I said wild chickens! The island is full of little chickadees chirping and roaming around. We were lucky enough to stay on Key West at the beautiful Southernmost Beach Resort!
Southernmost Resort is located right on the tip of the island, and is made up of two hotel buildings and two historical cottages available for rent. It’s steps away from restaurants, bars + shops!
I loved being able to walk everywhere and explore the town. Key West is so so beautiful, and I love how it’s imperfect. Houses are covered in fading // chipped pastel colored paints, old white brick churches are on every corner. Longgggg story short, it’s cute AF.
When we weren’t exploring the town, we were relaxin’ at Southernmost’s private beach + dock. Or snacking on something yummy from their beachfront restaurant!
Overall, Key West was amazing. It’s one of the prettiest places I’ve been in the USA. It almost feels like a foreign country!
Huge thank you to Southernmost Beach Resort for having us at your beautiful property. We’ll be back again SOON. Photos by my gal Hanna Snyder of Miramar Photo.
