Nestled into the Malibu hillside and directly across from one of the world’s most famous surf spots is the Surfrider Hotel. It’s built upon the studs of an old motel that saw countless surfers and beach goers back in the day. Now, it’s a beautifully reimagined hotel that’s true to it’s surf culture roots. We [ BeachByrds and I ] got the chance to stay there last week, and we’ve got all the 4-1-1 for you guys. Come inside the Surfrider Hotel with us!
We stayed in room twelve on the first floor, and I may be biased, but I think it was the best room in the whole place! We had a huge window giving us the perfect view of Surfrider surf break…Drew was in heaven!
Every corner of the Surfrider is perfection. From the lobby, with its curated selection of gifts, to the library, with tons of rad art and coffee table books…this place gave me total interior design inspo!
Also, how cool is this “Pray For Surf” print?! It was made by the super talented artist Ali Beletic. You can check out her site HERE.
If I had to pick a favorite part of our stay, the rooftop deck may be it! There’s a full bar and restaurant service with an unobstructed view of Malibu Pier…I could seriously sit up there for hours!
We filmed a little video of our stay at the Surfrider! Check it out below. And if you aren’t subscribed to my YouTube channel, click HERE to subscribe.
THANK YOU to our friends at BHLDN for having us to the Surfrider. If you guys haven’t yet, check out BHLDN’s new line Whispers + Echoes. I’ve linked some of my favorites below!
