This week’s brand spotlight features a designer that is a lot like I am! Why? Because we both lived in very cold places while dreaming of sunny days and palm trees. And today we’re both inspired by the California lifestyle we’re lucky enough to live. So what’s this California cool brand I speak of? Laju!
Laju is a brand dreamed up + designed by Lina Yang, a graduate of the renowned Parsons School. Lina grew up in Vancouver, Canada and studied design in New York City, so for most of her young life she froze her butt off! Her goal was to move to California, and after de-thawing, design a line of comfortable + affordable apparel for Cali girls!
Inspired by palm trees, warm ocean breezes and salty hair, Laju is a line of super soft, light and airy pieces perfect for a day at the beach. Keep scrollin’ for the Laju pieces I found online…and keep an eye out for more pieces to come!
